What is this auction about?
This is a fandom auction where Jikook writers and artists offer custom fanworks/commission slots. You bid on the offer you want, the highest bid wins, and 100% of the proceeds go to charity.
Is there an age restriction?
All participants — both creators and bidders — must be at least 18 years old. By taking part in this auction, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
How does the payment/donation part work?
After the auction ends, winners will donate their bid amount directly to charity and send proof to the mods/auction hosts. Once the donation is confirmend, the auctions hosts connect the winner with the creator so work can begin.
Which charity are we supporting?
All proceeds will go directly to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), an organization providing medical aid, life-saving treatment, food, water, and necessities for affected families, including orphans and amputees. They also focus on rebuilding healthcare facilities, evacuating injured children, and funding trauma counseling and mental health services to foster healing in the community.
Where will the auction take place?
Once open, the auction will be hosted on an external website via AirAuctioneer, which you’ll be able to access here: www.airauctioneer.com/jikook4palestine
I can’t bid or create. Can I still help?
Yes! Since platforms like Twitter may suppress our posts because of the topic, every like, comment, and share makes a difference. Help spread the word, and please never stop talking about Palestine <3
Who can join as a creator?
Creators should only sign up if they are certain they can complete their work. Once a donation has been made by the winner, dropping out should be avoided under any circumstances. Additionally:WRITERS must have at least one completed work published on AO3 that’s similar in length or style to what they’re offering.ARTISTS must have a public portfolio or examples of finished art pieces. These examples should match the type/complexity of the commission they want to offer (e.g. if they want to offer a full-color, full-body illustration, they should have at least one example of that style).Thank you for understanding!
What kind of work can I offer?
You can offer fics, twitter AUs, art and video edits, as long as they follow the restricted content rules and are delivered digitally (we cannot offer postal delivery).
What contents are resitricted?
A list of restricted contents can be found here. Please read them carefully. We reserve the right to reject or cancel any submission/commission that violates these guidelines, to protect the safety of participants.
Does the work have to be Jikook-focused?
Yes, all works must feature both Jimin and Jungkook as the main focus.
How will bidders know what I’m offering?
When signing up, you’ll fill out a detailed form about your auction item. This information will be used to create your listing on the auction page. Your listing will include for example a title, description, your DNWs, etc.
Is there a minimum or maximum wordcount/size of my art piece?
There are no requirements in that regard. You’ll set your own minimum during the creator sign-up process. This will appear in your auction listing so bidders know exactly what to expect. You can always exceed your minimum, but please don’t deliver less than promised.
Can I offer more than one commission?
Due to limited availability, we can only guarantee one spot per creator. You’re welcome to submit additional items (please use a separate sign-up form for each), and we’ll include them if there’s space left at the end of the sign-up period.
How do I get in touch with the winner of my commission?
The mods will get you in touch with your winner once the winner has sent in their proof of donation.
When do I have to finish my work?
by July 1st, 2026
What if I can’t finish by the deadline?
Please contact both your winner and the mods as soon as possible. In most cases, a new deadline can be agreed on.
Can creators stay anonymous?
No. Creators will be publicly listed on the auction page under the creator name they provide (e.g., AO3 handle or Twitter username). This is necessary so bidders know who they’re bidding on and can see examples of their work. However, we don’t ask you to share private or personal details! Only your chosen creator name/social media will be public.
I’m done with my commission, what now?
Yay! Thank you for your hard work! Please tag us in your posts on social media so we can share it, and make sure to tag your winner too if they want to be mentioned. If you’re a writer, don’t forget to post your fic to our AO3 collection so it becomes part of the auction archive.
How can I bid?
You can bid directly on the auction website: www.airauctioneer.com/jikook4palestine
There, you’ll find all the items our creators have submitted for the auction. Just pick the one(s) you want, and start bidding!
Can I bid on more than one item?
Absolutely! You can bid on as many items as you like. If you win more than one, you’ll need to donate the full winning amount for each.
Who handles my money?
The mods do NOT handle any money. Donations go directly from the winner to the charity. The winner then sends their proof of donation to the mods, who will then connect them with their creator.
What happens if I win?
If you are the highest bidder, you’ll receive an email with instructions to donate your winning bid amount directly to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. After you send us proof of your donation and we confirm it, we’ll connect you with your creator so you can start discussing your commission.
What if I can’t donate after winning?
Bids are binding. If you win, you’re expected to make your donation to the charity. Please only bid if you’re sure you can follow through! If you can’t, the commission will be offered to the next highest bidder.
What if I don’t win? Do I still have to donate?
You only donate if you win. If you’re the highest bidder, you donate your winning bid amount. If you're part of a winning pod bid, you donate the amount you promised to contribute to the pod bid. (Of course, extra donations are always welcome, it’s for a good cause!❤️)
How do I send in proof of my donation?
Send us a screenshot of your donation confirmation (on-screen, PayPal, or email receipt) via email, DM, or Discord. Just make sure to black out any personal details! Please note that the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund will only send you an email receipt if you enter a valid email address during the donating process.
What can I request if I win a commission? Are there any content restrictions?
You can request almost anything, as long as it follows our content restrictions and the creator’s WANTS and DNWs (Do Not Wants), which will be in their auction listing. A list of restricted contents can be found here, please read them! Make sure you and your creator are on the same page before they begin working on your commission.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel any submission/commission that violates our guidelines, to protect the safety of participants.
Can bidders/winners stay anonymous?
For the most part. You can bid anonymously during the auction. If you win, you can choose whether the creator tags you in their finished work or not.
However, everyone will need to provide an email address to participate, so the mods can notify you about your bid status. The email address and/or any social media handles will only be shared with the mods and, in case you win, with the creator for communication purposes.
What are pods?
Pods/pod bids are when two or more people team up to bid together on the same auction item. You agree on a request for the creator, combine your money, and if you win, the creator makes the piece for your group. You can find more info here!
Bidding DOs and DON'Ts
To keep the auction spirit alive, please don’t drop your full maximum amount right away!
Instead:- Start small: Place a bid just above the current highest.
- Go step by step: If someone outbids you, raise your amount little by little.
- Pods: If you’re in a pod, your representative will handle this and place bids strategically with your group’s total and the auction spirit in mind. This way, the auction stays exciting, and others get the chance to participate, too!
What is a pod bid?
A pod bid is when two or more people team up to bid together on the same auction item.
Before the auction, the group agrees on a request for the creator, each person in the group promises to contribute a certain amount of money, and during the auction the group bids as one through a representative.
If a pod wins, the creator makes one work for the whole group.Example:
You and others want an “enemies to lovers vampire fic” from a specific writer. The mods open a Discord channel for you where you agree on the details and every person pledges a certain amount of money. You’re now a pod!
But, oh no! Another pod forms for the same writer but they want a “friends to lovers college fic”, and they gain members fast! Time to promote your pod and recruit more people to strengthen your bid! Whoever bids the most in the auction wins.
How to start a new pod bid
1. Choose a creator and idea: Think of what you’d like them to create — for example, a certain kind of story, artwork, or theme you’d like to see from them.2. Tell the mods: Contact us via DM, email, or Discord, and let us know your idea and which creator it’s for. We’ll check with the creator to make sure they’re comfortable with it. (If you’re not done thinking of an idea yet, that’s fine too — just remember we’ll need to check with the creator before the auction officially begins, so your request must be finalized by then at the latest.)3. Set up a group chat: The mods will create a private Discord channel for your pod. (If you’d rather use another platform like a private Twitter group chat, that’s possible too, but please note the mods can only give full support on Discord, so we strongly recommend using it.)4. Pick a pod head (representative): Every pod needs one person to coordinate. The pod head will:
keep track of everyone’s pledges,
place bids for the group during the auction,
collect donation receipts from members if your pod wins,
communicate with the mods, and with the creator
(If nobody wants to take this role, the mods can do it for you — preferably on Discord.)5. Promote, promote, promote!
How to join an existing pod bid
Found a pod bid you want to support? Contact the mods via DM, email, or on Discord, and let them know which pod you want to join. You will then get access to the group chat where the pod is managed.
Promoting a pod bid
Spread the word! The mods will post about your pod on social media, but we highly encourage you to start promoting too, to recruit more people. More pod members = more money = a higher chance your pod wins, AND more funds for charity!(You can ask the mods to keep your pod anonymous, but public pods usually get more members and therefore have a higher chance of winning.)
How pods collect money- Each member pledges the amount they can give. Every dollar counts!- To avoid confusion, please always communicate your pledge in USD, since this is also the currency used in our auction, and the primary currency used for online donations to PCRF.- You DON'T send actual money to the pod representatives! However, the amount you promised is binding. If your pod wins the auction, you are required to make a donation in the amount you promised directly to the charity, and send the proof to your representative. (That is AFTER the auction and only if your pod wins.)- During the auction, the pod representative bids in the pods name, using the total amount available (= the sum of what everyone in the group has promised to give)- If you or someone else in your pod decides during the auction to increase their pledge to strengthen your pod's bid, for example if your pod is outbid by another pod, just tell your representative. You can only increase your pledge, you cannot promise less than you did before.
How pods decide on their request
Every pod gets its own private channel on our Discord. Use it to agree on what you want (e.g. vampire AU, college AU, canon compliant...) and any specific tags. You may need to compromise, but that’s part of the fun! Before auction week, it’s good practice to confirm with the creator that they’re okay with your request in general (either through the mods or your representative).
Why join a pod bid?
You might want to join a pod bid if you want to have a higher chance of winning an auction. Usually, pod bids are the bids that end up winning, because they are able to gather more money than one individual wants to bid. If you’re part of a pod bid, you might donate a small amount and still be able to win! For charity, every single dollar matters, so don’t be afraid to join even if you only have a few dollars to donate!
Can I be part of more than one pod bid?
Yes! You can- join multiple pod bids for several creators,- bid individually for other items while being part of a pod,- join different pod bids for the same creator (In this case, we only ask that you don’t share a pod’s total amount with other pods. This encourages healthy competition and ultimately benefits the charity!)
Please note that if you win several things (pods or solo), you will have to donate the amount you pledged for each win separately and send in proof for each, so everything can be tracked and credited accurately.
Is there a limit to the number of pod bids for one creator? There is no limit.
Is there a limit to the number of people in one pod bid?
There is no limit.
Role of a pod head/pod representative
The pod representative is the main contact person for the pod. Their responsibilities are:- Tracking pledges: Keeping a clear record of how much each member has promised.- Bidding: Placing bids on the auction site on behalf of the pod while keeping the spirit of the auction in mind — meaning: bidding bit by bit for healthy competition, not everything all at once!- Using pledges fully: Making sure all the money pledged by the pod members is actually bid.- Staying reachable: Being available for communication with the mods during the auction, and with the creator if the pod wins.- Collecting receipts: After a win, making sure each member donates their pledged amount and collecting & sending all proofs of donation to the mods.
